Welcome to Cafe Gelato and boom! boom! boba’s Treasure Quest. We will hide a gold combination lock somewhere in Winston. Over the course of the following weeks, we’ll post clues across social media (Facebook and Instagram for Cafe Gelato and boom! boom! boba). To get the all clues as they are released, you need to follow us on those four (4) accounts.

Prizes:
If you find the Gold Lock, here is what you’ll win:
1) Two (2) free boba teas or small gelatos or a combination of the two every week for a year. This can be used at either location.

2) Four (4) passes to the Carolina Classic Fair.

3) A boom! boom! boba baseball hat. These are highly coveted.

And the big one

4) Your very own working vintage table top rain lamp. You’ve seen them in the Hawthorne location and everyone loves them. Now you can have your very own. These things are rare as hen’s teeth.

Here’s How It Works:

Two (2) times a week we will post clues to the location of the Gold Lock on our social media randomly. We’ll continue to do this until the Lock is found.

Two (2) days after each clue is released on social media, we will post it in each location. It will be added to all the previous clues, this way, if you miss a clue, then you can stop by either location and get it since the list will have ALL the clues that have been given. As you can see, it’s to your benefit to follow us on social media, otherwise you’ll get the clue 2 days late.

As a bonus, if you also follow us Thread also, we will post clues only to that account. These clues WILL NOT be on the shop lists. The only place these can be seen is on Thread.

Rules:

1) To access the Gold Lock, you will not have to climb or dig.

2) The Gold Lock will not be hidden on private property.

3) The Gold Lock must be in working order as it was intended. It cannot be altered, so don’t try to cut it off.

4) The lock must be brought to Cafe Gelato on Hawthorne Rd to be verified.

5) The winner(s) will be notified within 7 days of turning the lock in.

6) The winner(s) will be announced on social media.

7) Cafe Gelato and boom! boom! boba reserve the right to revise the rules if we find something’s not working well or the quest isn't progressing.
